Parking Enforcement

Parking Enforcement Officer Sammy Fallen marks a vehicle's tireThe Stillwater Police Department (SPD) Parking Enforcement Division is currently manned by three individuals: Sam Fallen, John Gillman and Jeff Holly. Canvassing major portions of the city of Stillwater, their ultimate responsibility lies in the enforcement of city ordinances governing motor vehicle parking.

Always diligent, friendly, and professional, SPD’s Parking Enforcement officers work closely with vehicle owners and the Municipal Court Division in order to resolve parking issues. Unfortunately, circumstances sometimes call for the issuance of citations and/or impoundment for vehicles that are found to be in violation of city ordinances or state statutes such as overtime parking, displaying expired license plates on a city street, or the accrual of outstanding parking tickets. Rest assured, however, that the Parking Enforcement officers will assist vehicle owners in any way that they can in order to resolve such infractions.

Please refer to the following information as in initial guideline to ensure compliance with city parking ordinances.  For more complete and up-to-date information, please refer directly to the City Ordinance and State Statute handbooks.
